What is VertiScore?
VertiScore is Vertical Charts’ proprietary algorithm that ranks micro-drama content across all major platforms. Unlike simple view counts, VertiScore captures the full picture of a show’s cultural impact—measuring not just how many people watch, but how fast it’s growing, how audiences respond, and how much buzz it generates.

Velocity (25%)
Growth Momentum
How fast is the show gaining viewers? We track week-over-week growth rates to identify breakout hits before they peak. A show climbing rapidly scores higher than one with stagnant viewership—even if total views are lower.
Engagement (20%)
Social Interaction
Views are passive. Engagement is active. We measure likes, comments, shares, duets, and stitches across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. High engagement signals a passionate fanbase that drives organic growth.
User Reviews (20%)
Audience Voice
What do real viewers think? We aggregate ratings and reviews from app stores, in-app feedback, and social commentary. Both rating quality and review volume factor into the score—a show needs fans who care enough to speak up.

Are people actively looking for this show? We track search volume across Google, TikTok, YouTube, and platform search bars. High search interest indicates strong word-of-mouth and cultural curiosity.
Reach (10%)
Total Viewership
The foundation of any ranking. We pull verified view counts directly from platforms including ReelShort, DramaBox, ShortMax, and others. Reach establishes baseline popularity.
Sentiment (10%)
Public Perception
Is the conversation positive or negative? We analyze social media mentions, press coverage, and comment sections to gauge overall sentiment. A show generating excitement scores higher than one generating controversy.
